THE INCLUSION OF THE LETTER "Ø" IN OUR NAME PAYS HOMAGE TO THE SCANDINAVIAN COUNTRIES, WHERE WELL-BEING PRACTICES LIKE HYGGE, FIKA AND LAGOM ARE DEEPLY INGRAINED IN THE CULTURAL FABRIC. MEET KRISTINA

Hello, I’m Kristina, the founder of HØRA and your wellness bestie. My journey to this point has been one of profound personal transformation. As a certified yoga teacher and an applied psychology student, my passion for this work is deeply rooted in my own experiences of overcoming adversity. In my late teens and early twenties, I was grappling with a severe back injury, debilitating depression, and anxiety so intense that panic attacks became a daily ordeal. I was at rock bottom, feeling utterly disconnected from my body and mind. My anxiety was so overpowering that my body would heat up, making me feel like I would pass out from the slightest stress (or walking up the stairs). I spent months stuck in bed, unable to eat without feeling nauseous, and utterly miserable. But I made a decision that changed everything: I chose to save myself. Through therapy and relentless self-exploration, I began to heal. I learned to reconnect with my body, manage my anxiety, and rebuild my life from the ground up. This journey not only restored my health but also ignited a passion to help others navigate their own struggles. At HØRA, I bring together my expertise in yoga and psychology, along with my personal experiences of healing and transformation, to guide others who feel lost, stuck, or overwhelmed. My goal is to share the practices and insights that helped me reclaim my life so you, too, can heal, grow, and create the life you've always dreamed of.
